What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Other storage mechanisms, including localStorage, can retain information on your device without using a cookie. A page can also hold temporary values in memory that disappear when the page closes.
What these lesson pages use
The supplied lesson and contact-tool code does not set cookies, read cookies or use localStorage. It contains no advertising, analytics, embedded media or third-party tracking scripts. Navigation and scroll reveals work without retaining a visitor identifier.
The contact draft is held temporarily in the page. A copied draft uses your device clipboard, and a downloaded draft becomes a file you control. These actions do not create a website cookie and do not send the text to the site.
Separately supplied site services
A hosting platform or separately supplied consent interface may have its own strictly necessary storage or preference record. Those services are distinct from the lesson scripts described here. If consent controls are displayed on the live site, use them to review the categories and choices actually offered. This page does not assume that accepting a preference enables analytics that are not otherwise present.
Any future addition of non-essential storage should be described before use and, where required by applicable law, depend on appropriate consent. Refusing optional storage should not prevent access to these written lessons.
Your browser choices
You can inspect and remove site data through your browser's privacy or site-settings controls. You can also limit cookies globally or per site. Clearing stored preferences may cause a separately supplied consent prompt to appear again. Browser controls vary, so consult the help information for your browser.
Deleting website data does not necessarily remove downloaded files, clipboard contents or emails. Manage those separately on your device and in your email application.
Questions about data
Read the privacy notice for information about email correspondence and ordinary website requests. For a question about observed storage, contact [email protected] and describe the browser and storage item without sending sensitive personal information.
